Out of all places to deal drugs, one Massachusetts man felt Macy’s was his best option.
Mass Live reports 29-year-old Edison Arias was popped by police for not only dealing drugs inside of a Downtown Boston Macy’s but for also shoplifting. It should be noted this was Friday at noon, so he was peddling drugs in broad daylight.
Macy’s security summoned police after witnessing a few dealings — and then, Arias went ahead and tried to swipe a $40 shirt.
Police showed up and slapped a pair of handcuffs on the perp after recovering 29 plastic bags of what they think is heroin. They also found he was carrying about $288 on him — more than enough to pay for the shirt he wanted to steal.
Arias was charged with larceny as well as distributing and trafficking a Class A drug. Arraignment has been set at Boston Municipal Court.
