Reba McEntire’s been talking about wanting to do a reunion of her Reba sitcom, but this might not be quite what she had in mind.
The country star and her boyfriend, actor Rex Linn, were in the middle of a photo shoot beside an idyllic creek recently when out of nowhere, Melissa Peterman showed up to take some pictures of her own.
Of course, Reba and Melissa’s friendship goes way back. On Reba, Melissa played Barbra Jean, the new girlfriend of Reba’s ex-husband, Brock. On the show, Reba and Barbra strike up an unlikely friendship, and they’re equally chummy off screen: In fact, they even co-host their own podcast, Living & Learning With Reba McEntire.
The pair have some on-screen reasons to hang out together these days, and it’s not because of a Reba reboot. They’re both in the cast of a new Lifetime film called The Hammer. Rex is also a co-star in that show.
