The City of The Dalles Beautification Committee is, once again, looking forward all of the holiday cheer and décor throughout our neighborhoods. And we would like to acknowledge those homeowners who put forth a great amount of effort! Last year we handed out a single holiday beautification award to one home, however, we recognized some that was sort of limiting. In order to expand upon our original idea, this year the Beautification Committee has chosen to take a different route.
There will be three houses that can win the top honor, one from each of the following categories:
- Traditional; string lights on house/accenting house and roofline, biblical scenes, Santa themed, Christmas/winter holidays stories
- Futuristic; light show, music, new ways of decorating,
- Grandiose; entertainment, moving pieces, over the top/extravagant
We can’t do this without some help though, we need assistance finding these houses! If your house holiday decorations are a sight to be seen – we want to see them! If your neighbor’s has gone above and beyond – we want to see it! Please take a few moments to fill out the below survey in order to submit an address for our committee’s consideration (all houses submitted will be added to the review list). You are welcome to submit more than one entry Submissions must be received prior to December 13th.
