160 COVID-19 cases reported in Wasco County

A new record 160 cases in one week for Wasco County, up from 109 the week before. ‘

The hospitals in Hood River and The Dalles today are reporting 12 COVID patients between them, down from a record high of 14 last Thursday.

Statewide, hospitalizations are slightly down from a record 1,143 on Sunday, to 1,120 today. Patients in ICUs and on ventilators are also down slightly. The state recorded 40 deaths since last Friday.

Wasco County residents get a $50 VISA card for the first dose, including doses from pharmacies and doctor’s offices.

Mid-Columbia Medical Center clinics and One Community Health also offer the vaccine to their patients.
