SANDWICH, England (AP) — Andy Sullivan was among the last to make the field at the British Open and part of the first group out when play began. And he hasn’t wasted any time at Royal St. George’s. Sullivan is part of a strong early showing by the English on home soil after rolling in a 30-foot birdie putt at No. 1 then closing with a birdie for a 67. He was “buzzing.” Sullivan found out he would be playing at the Open only on Friday while he was playing at the Scottish Open. Danny Willett also shot 67 and Paul Casey a 68.
