Condon Vaccine Clinic July 3

A vaccine clinic is set for this Saturday, July 3, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the courthouse lawn of the Gilliam County Courthouse in Condon, at 221 S. Oregon St.

The clinic is taking place just a block and a half from the popular Condon Artisans Market, an event that draws a large crowd.

“While we’ve weathered the worst of the pandemic, the COVID vaccine remains the best way to keep our families and communities healthy this summer,” said Elizabeth Farrar Campbell, Gilliam County Judge. “We’re encouraging everyone to catch up with your friends and neighbors at the Artisans Market and then take a few minutes to cool off and get your free COVID-19 vaccine on the Courthouse lawn.”

Dr. Miriam McDonell, Health Officer for NCPHD, said, “Vaccinations are the number one tool in preventing COVID-19 infections and illness. NCPHD is excited to work with Gilliam County partners and the OHA to continue making COVID-19 vaccines accessible and convenient for rural Oregonians.”

The clinic, which is being done by the Oregon Health Authority in partnership with North Central Public Health District (NCPHD), will offer the Pfizer vaccine, for those 12 and up, and the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, for those 18 and older.
