NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Jets’ search for a long-term starting quarterback will continue after they dealt former first-round pick Sam Darnold to the Carolina Panthers. The 23-year-old Darnold gets a much-needed change of scenery and a new opportunity in Carolina, where he’ll also be reunited with wide receiver Robby Anderson. The Jets receive a sixth-round pick in this year’s NFL draft, along with second- and fourth-rounders in 2022.
