PORTLAND, Ore. – Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced the filing of criminal charges against 38-year-old Blake Daniels who is accused of murdering 60-year-old Jay Underwood.
Daniels is charged with one count of murder in the second degree with a firearm, one count of robbery in the first degree with a firearm, one count of unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle with a firearm.

The probable cause affidavit in this case is sealed pursuant to a judge’s ruling.
No additional information can be released by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office at this time.
A charging document is only an accusation of a crime. Daniels is innocent unless and until proven guilty.
