Sorenstam is back on the LPGA Tour

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Annika Sorenstam is back on the LPGA Tour, but not for long. The 50-year-old Swede is among the most dominant players in LPGA history. She retired at age 37 in 2008 and walked away from the game. But she’s back for this week’s Gainbridge LPGA in Florida at her home course of Lake Nona. Sorenstam says this is not a comeback, it’s an appearance. She has no other plans to compete on the LPGA against women half her age. She does want to play the U.S. Senior Women’s Open.
