An Iowa woman is facing charges after police say she used stolen credit card information to rent bounce houses for Father’s Day and Fourth of July parties.
Investigators allege the rentals left the inflatable company with more than $1,300 in losses after chargebacks. Police say evidence linked the orders to the woman through phone numbers, email accounts, and a park reservation connected to the events. She denied placing the orders, but now faces theft and unauthorized credit card use charges. In a case that’s definitely taken the bounce out of the party, she’s been released on bond while awaiting arraignment. (The Smoking Gun)
