Halle Berry Completes Court-Ordered Parenting Program Amid Custody Battle

Halle Berry has completed a mandatory parenting education program amid her ongoing custody dispute with ex-husband Olivier Martinez over their 13-year-old son, Maceo.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Berry signed a certificate October 6th confirming she completed the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Our Children First online mediation orientation and parenting program. The course is required for parents involved in custody or visitation disputes.

The development follows allegations by Martinez that Berry placed their son in a headlock and choked him during a dispute involving a virtual reality game. Berry has denied the accusations, describing the incident as playful roughhousing and insisting she never harmed their child.

A judge previously granted Martinez a temporary restraining order but allowed Berry to retain final decision-making authority over Maceo’s mental health care and education.

The former couple is scheduled to return to court October 16th.
