A Georgia man’s alleged dine-and-dash attempt landed him in even hotter water

Authorities say 39-year-old Abdul Rasheed racked up a $63 bill at a Red Lobster in Douglas County, then allegedly called 911 and pretended to be sick in hopes of avoiding payment. Police say the scheme didn’t work. Officers determined the medical emergency was fake, arrested Rasheed, and charged him with theft of services and unlawful conduct during a 911 call. He was booked into the Douglas County Jail and is being held on a $3,000 bond.

Looks like the all-you-can-eat deal did not include a free ride to jail. And unfortunately for him, there are no Cheddar Bay Biscuits behind bars.
