This wily coyote finally caught his roadrunner — and he managed the feat without any dynamite.
Alexander deBarros, an avid bird watcher in Southern California, tells KTLA he was conducting a bird survey at Chatsworth Nature Preserve when he witnessed Wile E. Coyote’s dream come true: A coyote with a great roadrunner in its mouth.
And lo and behold, there was no anvil, TNT or extensive blueprints in sight.
“I took just a couple of quick pictures just to confirm, is that actually a roadrunner in its mouth?” deBarros told KTLA. “And upon review, the answer was yes! We all freaked out as the coyote just ran over the hill and disappeared.”
And in a plot twist even Warner Bros couldn’t write, the encounter took place as Coyote vs. Acme, a new movie starring the scheming coyote, hit theaters.
That’s all, folks!
