An East Texas sheriff’s deputy got quite a surprise during a routine roadside check.
Dashcam video shows the deputy approaching what appeared to be a dead deer lying on the side of the road. But as he got closer, the deer suddenly jumped to its feet, startling the deputy and sending him scrambling and screaming back toward his patrol vehicle. The deputy quickly laughed off the encounter, saying, “Okay, we’re good.” Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace shared the video online, where it has racked up more than 10 million views. The sheriff says the deer made a full recovery and later disappeared into the East Texas woods. (Fox News)
