At around noon on September 9, 2026 this significant crash occurred on Scenic Drive and Scenic View Lane in The Dalles. The driver was a juvenile as were the two passengers. Thankfully this crash only resulted in minor injuries. The roadway was closed for about 30 minutes while on scene emergency responders assessed the incident and cared for the occupants.
The Dalles Police Traffic Unit took lead on the investigation and charges were issued against the offending driver. Speed and reckless driving behavior were determined to be the cause of the crash.
