This bus passenger was definitely on the lamb.
Germany’s WDR reports that an escaped sheep was found on a bus operated by the transit company RVM. The wooly stowaway had boarded the vehicle after the driver briefly left it unlocked.
“The driver who found the animal calmed it down and waited with it until the police arrived,” says an RVM spokesperson.
Apparently, the bus was also already in line to go through the car wash, which added an extra layer to the sheep’s adventure.
Eventually, the sheep’s owner was notified and arrived at the bus depot to pick up the animal. Still, the sheep won’t leave the minds of the RVM staff anytime soon.
“We’ll dedicate an article to the sheep in our employee magazine,” the spokesperson says.
