Curiosity did not kill this cat, but a trip to the vet almost did.
The Overland Park Police Department in Kansas reports in an Instagram post that it was called to help free a cat after it “was caught in a mechanical reclining chair desperately trying to escape its owner for a vet visit.”
The cat was safely freed from its predicament with a saw, police say.
“The feline is fine and arrived to the vet for its annual checkup,” the post adds.
We hope that the cat went home with the feline equivalent of a lollipop after its trying ordeal.
