It seems that you can bet on pretty much everything these days, and that includes the speed of melting snow.
The PATCO train, which runs between Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, is taking bets to see when a giant pile of snow overflowing into the parking lot of Jersey’s Haddonfield Station will melt.
“This enormous snow mountain is at the Haddonfield Station,” reads a post on PATCO’s social media. “When do you think it will fully melt? Give us a date!”
The winner will receive a card worth $20 in train fare.
