Guess who’s back????????
On March 2nd, 2026, an officer with HRPD stopped a vehicle for speed and lane violations. For some reason, it always seems like bad actors are like, “Look at me, look at me.”
During the investigation, an adult male passenger was observed concealing unknown items underneath his seat. This individual did not get the memo about placing your hands where the officer can see them, but instead decided to go digging. And to our surprise, shocker, a stolen firearm was found under the seat, waiting to be reunited with its rightful owner.
There was also an array of daggers, a pink taser, and multiple bindles of suspected crystal meth, the popular, teeth-eating, sore-producing substance.
The adult male is a felon who can’t possess any of the weapons, but when do these people actually care what the law says, anyway? To top things off, the adult male also had multiple warrants out of two separate jurisdictions.
When youre into these shenanigans, it sounds like everybody wants you. Oh, and let’s not forget about the friends who wanted to join their buddy.
A second male was taken into custody for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and wouldn’t you know, a probation violation. A third occupant was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
All in all, it was an eventful day in the life of a Hood River Police Officer. HRPD will keep patrolling and being proactive. That’s what our residents deserve.
