A New Zealand couple got a little too excited that their flight was coming to an end.
The New Zealand Herald reports that Reuben Jeremy Finn and Bronte LeLievre have been charged with performing an indecent act in a public place for “excessively” kissing while on board a plane as its descent began.
The action was apparently so hot and heavy that the couple was asked to stop by flight attendants, who informed them they were disturbing other passengers. They apparently stopped only to resume kissing once the flight attendant turned away.
Things then escalated as Finn put his hands under LeLievre’s clothing. As an attendant came over to try to stop them once more, the two pretended they’d fallen asleep, though Finn’s hands were still inside his paramour’s clothes.
It may be a bit before Finn can freely roam about the cabin, as he’s been sentenced to six months of community detention and 12 months of supervision, which covers the indecency charge as well as an unrelated theft charge.
LeLievre is set to be sentenced in November.
