If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Unfortunately for chef Valentino Luchin, he’s been feeling a whole different kind of heat since getting out of the kitchen.
Luchin, who according to KABC used to be the executive chef at an Italian restaurant called Rose Pistola, was arrested for allegedly robbing three banks in San Francisco in a single day.
The San Francisco Police Department reports that the suspect, identified as Luchin, first entered a bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The employee provided a bag full of cash out of fear for their safety, and the suspect fled with the money.
However, that turned out to only be the appetizer. Luchin then went back for a main course and dessert when he allegedly pulled a similar stunt at two other locations.
Luchin has since been arrested and booked on charges of robbery and attempted robbery.
