Walmart says ‘See you later, alligator’ to Pennsylvania man

What would you do if you saw an alligator in Walmart?

Well, the folks at the West Brownsville, Pennsylvania, location are working hard to make sure that doesn’t happen.

That’s bad news, however, for Wesley Silva, who says he’s been shopping there for years with his emotional support gator, Jinseioshi.

The 60-year-old and his 5-foot, 32-pound harness-wearing reptile have been banned from the store after pictures of one of their shopping excursions went viral.

“I looked and I saw this alligator dressed up, standing in there, and his mouth was sticking out of the buggy,” said the anonymous woman who took the photos. “I don’t want to shop with alligators.”

Silva, who’s a pastor, says he’s shopped at this Walmart for more than three years and has only gotten praise for how well Jinseioshi behaves.

He got the gator — who’s just part of his collection — from a neighbor. He also has another alligator, snakes, a Komodo dragon and one (potentially very nervous) dog.
