Alleged thieves supersize potential legal problems by stealing Ronald McDonald statue

The town of Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, is rattled by the disappearance of Ronald McDonald.

A plastic recreation of the famed clown mascot was stolen from a local McDonald’s in what police are deeming a “full-blown McNapping.”

“Ronald was last seen smiling, as usual, unaware of the betrayal,” the Nesquehoning Police Department says in a Facebook post. “Witnesses say he didn’t even put up a fight.”

“To the suspects: We get it — times are tough, and therapy is expensive,” the post continues. “But kidnapping a plastic icon of joy? That’s a McFelony.”

Those with any information regarding Ronald’s whereabouts are asked to contact the authorities.
