After last night’s (Wednesday) special meeting, we have the required amount of support to move on to the next step and turn the petitions in to the County for adoption. If everything goes through, the area on the outlined in green will become a part of Rural 7’s Fire district (pink is the existing district) and those residents will have better chances of getting fire insurance or lower their rates if they were lucky enough to already have insurance.
