How do you get a lost little piggy to cry wee, wee, wee all the way home? Maybe try offering it some crackers.
That’s what the Orleans Police Department of Massachusetts discovered when responding to reports of a lost pig wandering through town.
“Turns out, a local pig, Poo-ah, had ham-bushed its pen and taken itself on a self-guided tour of Orleans!” Orleans PD writes in a Facebook post. “Officers quickly responded and initiated a brief foot pursuit.”
The post says Poo-ah “showed some serious chops on the run,” but an officer “managed to persuade it to return home peacefully with some crackers.”
“Poo-ah was last seen safely back in its pen,” Orleans PD says. Hopefully this little piggy will indeed stay home.
