Early in the morning (12/19/24), NDPD Officers responded to an armed robbery at the Best Western Hotel in Newberg. A hotel guest reported being robbed at gunpoint by four individuals. The victim provided descriptions of the suspects to our NEWCOM dispatch center.
Shortly after the report was made, an NDPD Officer located a vehicle leaving the Best Western parking lot. A felony stop was conducted, and all four occupants were detained and subsequently arrested. A firearm, narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and property stolen from the victim was recovered.
The suspects were identified to be 30 y/o John Donnahoo of Portland, 31 y/o Michala Brown of Portland, 34 y/o Adrian Lambright of McMinnville, and 30 y/o Emily Bojorcas of McMinnville.
All four suspects were lodged at the Yamhill County Jail on the following criminal charges: Robbery in the First Degree, Kidnapping in the First Degree, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree. In addition to these charges, John Donahoo was lodged on an outstanding warrant which had been issued by the U.S. Marshals. This investigation is still ongoing, and all suspects involved are expected to face additional charges.
At least two of the suspects were known to the victim. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the robbery.
