Airline food has never had a great reputation, but one Scandinavian Airlines passenger’s meal forced a recent flight from Oslo, Norway, to Málaga, Spain, to make an unscheduled landing.
The unexpected landing in Copenhagen occurred after a mouse crawled out of a passenger’s meal, according to The Guardian.
While a rodent on a plane is certainly gross, that isn’t the only reason the plane made an emergency landing. It seems it was forced to land because the rodent’s presence created a safety risk due to the possibility of it chewing through the plane’s electrical wiring.
The passengers were switched to another flight, which delivered them safely to Málaga.
