A pair of burglars with the same name are now sharing a cell after a brazen crime spree through Southwest England.
The two men, both named Bernie McDonagh, stole TVs, watches, jewelry and cash, according to Coventry Live.
DI Alan Hands, of the Serious Organized and Acquisitive Crime Team, said, “Both McDonaghs were of the opinion that they could go from house to house across the country and take what they liked, when they liked, without any repercussions.”
McDonagh number one was charged with three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, one count of going equipped for burglary, and driving without insurance or a license.
