A Pennsylvania man who allegedly tried to break into a jail succeeded, though not quite the way he had planned.
Surveillance footage obtained by ABC affiliate WTAE-TV shows the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Pittsburgh resident Charles Felder, attempting the break-in, until he became too tired and collapsed.
Felder, who still managed to put up a fight when the police arrived, was taken to a nearby hospital. He was charged with attempted burglary, criminal mischief, institutional vandalism and harassment. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 20.
In the meantime, he’s being held — where else — at the jail he tried so valiantly to break into, according to Penn Live.
