Wyden Announces Town Halls in Gilliam and Wallowa Counties

Senator will be in Enterprise on Aug, 24, Condon on Aug. 25

Portland – U.S. Senator Ron Wyden today announced he will hold open-to-all town halls next week in Wallowa and Gilliam counties.

Heading into these two town halls, Wyden will have held 1,097 town halls throughout Oregon – including 32 so far this year — in fulfillment of his pledge to hold at least one town hall each year in each of our state’s 36 counties.

“Hearing directly from Oregonians helps me represent every nook and cranny of our state,” Wyden said. “In the nearly 1,100 town halls I’ve held to date, I’ve gotten direct and productive feedback with ideas, questions and concerns that shape solutions we can work on together to make all of Oregon an even better place to live and work.”

Here’s where and when the upcoming town halls will be:

·       Wallowa County, 1 pm, Saturday, Aug. 24, Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness, 606 Medical Parkway, Enterprise

·       Gilliam County, 1 pm, Sunday, Aug. 25, Veterans Memorial Hall, 120 S. Main St., Condon

Doors will open 30 minutes before the town halls for attendees.
