Talk about a bad first date.
An Iowa woman got a case of “cold feet” so bad she called the police to try and get out of it.
Sumaya Thomas, 18, had scheduled a rendezvous with a man she met on a dating app, but when he arrived at her home, she suddenly panicked and called the cops, telling them she was pregnant with his baby and he was an “abusive” ex who was “threatening” to hurt her, according to Law&Crime.
When police arrived at the house they questioned the man, who was able to prove her story was false by providing text messages between the two of them.
Thomas eventually admitted to making these false reports because she “got cold feet” upon meeting him.
She was arrested and charged with two counts of False Report of Indictable Offense to Public Entity and one count of False Report on a 911 call.
