A Florida woman is facing burglary and battery charges after allegedly giving it to her ex-boyfriend with everything she had — which, at the time, was a bottle of Sprite and pickled pork juice.
A Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a break-in at a Lehigh Acres home on March 1, according to an affidavit obtained by WFLA-TV.
The deputy reportedly found Aukievah Reddick, 22, holding a bottle of Sprite outside of the home, which she then threw, hitting a man, identified as her ex-boyfriend.
Reddick allegedly began shouting at the victim and threatening to fight him as the officer attempted to separate the pair.
A doorbell camera caught the victim arriving at the residence and confronting Reddick, who began shouting at him and throwing the pickled pork and pork’s juices onto a sofa, damaging the couch, according the affidavit.
Reddick was arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail for battery touch or strike — police lingo for dating violence, property damage under $200 and burglary of an occupied dwelling.
