Majority Democrats in the legislature will hold public hearings on three of them next week where you’ll be able testify.
Senator Matt Boehnke says that’s a positive.
Legislators may get the opportunity to pass those initiatives as written.
The Kennewick Republican says if that happens, they become law.
Any of the initiatives that are not adopted by lawmakers will appear on the ballot as written.
The Legislature can also submit alternatives that would appear alongside the original measures on the ballot.
