Early this afternoon, January 16, 2024, the Hood River Board of Commissioners declared a State of Emergency for Hood River County due to current and expected weather impacts throughout the County. The Declaration allows the County Administrator and Emergency Manager to coordinate response and recovery from this emergency not only using local resources but by requesting assistance from the State of Oregon and other jurisdictions.
