Federal Columbia Caucus reports on salmon to Gorge Commission

The importance of cold water refuges as the Columbia heats up

The Columbia River Gorge Commission met by Zoom on November 14. The majority of the meeting was taken up with a report by the Federal Columbia Caucus on the group’s salmon initiative. Agencies in the caucus include: Bonneville Power Administration, Bureau of Indian, Affairs Bureau of Land Management, National Marine Fisheries Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Bureau of Reclamation, US Environmental Protection Agency, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service and US Geological Survey.

Several members of the Gorge Commission said the report was one of the most thorough and useful reports the Commission had ever seen.

For those who missed it, we have placed the slides from the presentation below. Under each slide is the audio recording commenting on that slide.
