Flight attendant’s fakes bomb threat to get back at ex-boyfriend

In a wild attempt to get back at her ex-boyfriend, a flight attendant from Argentina went to extreme lengths by orchestrating a bomb threat.

It was May 21 when a distorted voice message sent to an airline worker claimed there were explosives onboard the Miami-bound flight, according to Vice. Chaos ensued as 270 passengers and the crew were swiftly evacuated, causing the airline to lose a hefty one million dollars.

However, it turned out to be a cunning hoax, masterminded by the jealous flight attendant, Daniela Carbone. She wanted to prevent her ex-boyfriend from flying to Miami with his new flame.

Carbone’s plan unraveled when she was arrested upon her return to Argentina. After over two weeks of silence, refusing to speak to authorities, she was charged with aggravated duress, public intimidation, and obstruction of public service. The fiery revenge not only resulted in potential prison time for Carbone, but also led to her termination from the airline.
