The Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office has received complaints about street signs and mailboxes being vandalized throughout Klickitat County.
On April 7, 2023 prior to 5:00 P.M., someone vandalized the street sign at Munson Prairie Road with black spray paint, completely covering the wording on the sign. There were also several mailboxes spray painted with black paint on Woodland Road.
This type of vandalism becomes a safety problem if someone living in the area needs medical, fire, or law enforcement response, and the first responders are unable to read the street sign or addresses on a mailbox. This vandalism can cause a delay in help arriving for the person calling for first responder assistance.
The Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $500.00 REWARD for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the above vandalism.
