The full Commission met Friday morning and heard deputy director and regional director’s reports following an open public input opportunity. The Commission then approved three proposed land transactions in Asotin, Okanogan, and Thurston counties.

The Reardon Future Farmers of America (FFA) Agriculture Group gave a presentation to the Commission over a working lunch on Friday on carnivore management. Commissioners then heard updates regarding the Commission’s Advisory Committee for Americans with Disabilities, the proposed Klickitat Hatchery transfer, and the Game Management Plan.

On Saturday, the Commission held an open public input opportunity followed by an executive session. The Commission also voted to deny three spring black bear and timber damage petitions.

Finally, Commissioners discussed wolf management during an afternoon workshop on Saturday. During future meeting planning, the Commission discussed upcoming meeting agenda topics.
