An Indiana woman got glazed by cops who collared her for drunkenly doing donuts on the lawn of the county courthouse.
The 68-year-old, whose name was not released, was caught in the act of tearing up the grass in her silver sedan, and was described as “visibly intoxicated” at the scene. Surveillance video captured the incident, which kicked up a cloud of dust visible from well outside the courthouse gates. The suspect’s blood alcohol level measured .08, just above the legal limit. Jennings county sheriff’s department posted a Facebook message reading “If you’ve had a few too many margaritas with dinner, please don’t get behind the wheel, and definitely don’t do donuts on the courthouse lawn.”
The sheriff’s office said she was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and what it described as numerous other charges, which the reports I found did not itemize. (NBC Chicago)
