Production on The Batman Part II has been temporarily paused as director Matt Reeves steps away to deal with a family matter. Warner Bros. and DC Studios said Reeves has their “full support” and that they look forward to resuming production soon. Robert Pattinson is returning as Batman, alongside Scarlett Johansson, Colin Farrell, Sebastian Stan, Andy Serkis and Jeffrey Wright. Tulsa King has been renewed for a 5th season at Paramount+ ahead of the fourth-season premiere on October 16th. The Sylvester Stallone crime drama will also make a major move, shifting production from Atlanta to New York as Dwight “The General” Manfredi returns to his Mafia roots. Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi, Nickola Shreli and Erik Palladino are joining the cast as series regulars, while Stallone’s daughter Scarlet Rose Stallone has been promoted to series regular. Mark Mortimer, best known for playing Nick Hudson on the NBC soap opera Another World, has died at 59. Mortimer died September 23rd after what his family described as a “fearless journey with cancer.” He joined Another World in 1996 as the third actor to portray Nick and remained with the soap until its finale in 1999. Mortimer, an Army veteran, later appeared on Spin City and in the 2005 film The Nowhere Man. (Variety)
