CMLK Development and the Port of Hood River invite you to a public open house about the future of the Marina East/West site.
Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Hood River County Library, Meeting Room
502 State Street, Hood River, OR 97031
The Port owns approximately 2.6 acres east of Marina Green, currently developed with two buildings (which includes the DMV) and the gravel lot. The existing leases are currently scheduled to expire at the end of 2026. The Port has entered into an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement with CMLK Development to study redevelopment of the site as a financially sustainable, publicly accessible waterfront asset.
Marina Green, the marina basin, and the waterfront trail are not part of this project area and will remain for recreational use.
CMLK’s early development concept includes a hotel, a public market and food and beverage space, public recreation areas, and an expanded public waterfront promenade. This is a concept and it is subject to change based on public input, due diligence and future Port Commission decisions. No land use application has been filed and no approvals have been granted.
The open house is an opportunity for the community to provide input on priorities and character to help inform concept refinement. This is an opportunity for the public to share feedback on public access to the water and how people move through the site, open space and public amenities, building character and materials, uses at street level, parking and traffic, and construction phasing and impacts.
The venue is ADA accessible. A Spanish interpreter will be available.
