NORTAC Assists MINT with Search Warrant in West The Dalles
On the morning of September 25, 2026, the Northern Oregon Regional Tactical Team (NORTAC) assisted the Mid Columbia Interagency Narcotics Team (MINT) in serving a search warrant in west The Dalles.
A search warrant is a court order signed by a judge that authorizes law enforcement to search a specified place, vehicle, or person for evidence. The warrant process reflects the Fourth Amendment’s protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
No one was injured during the operation. Nearby residents received a reverse 911 call informing them of the law enforcement activity.
Seven people were detained. The investigation remains ongoing, and potential charges will be referred to the Wasco County District Attorney’s Office for consideration.
Participating agencies included the Wasco, Sherman, Gilliam, and Hood River County Sheriff’s Offices and The Dalles Police Department.
