Whoopi Goldberg is temporarily stepping away from The View to film a new Netflix movie, though she will continue appearing on the daytime talk show on Mondays.
Goldberg will miss Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday episodes for the next two weeks while filming Women Like Us, a comedy also starring Jenifer Lewis, Vanessa Williams and Vivica A. Fox.
Former View co-hosts Star Jones, Lisa Ling, Sherri Shepherd and Debbie Matenopoulos will return as guest co-hosts during Goldberg’s absence. Joy Behar will serve as moderator on the days Goldberg is away.
