Forget porridge, this bear found a different meal that was just right.
Kendra North, of Kentucky, tells WDKY that a bear broke into her house early in the morning and ate the leftover food from KFC she had left out on her kitchen table.
North says that she was sleeping during the bear’s visit and woke up to a call from her sister, who lives next door, who heard the animal break in.
When North got up, she found her glass table shattered and her KFC food gone.
“My table is really thick glass, and [the bear] completely shattered it,” North says. “[My sister] said she actually heard the table shattered from inside her house, and she thought that it was a car wreck outside.”
North adds, “I’m a little sad over my KFC.”
As for preventing future bear encounters, North advises, “Definitely don’t leave your leftover KFC on the kitchen table and make sure the door is shut very well.”
