The floors of this museum in the Netherlands will be a bit sticky, but for a good reason.
According to The Associated Press, the museum’s floor has been covered in over 800 pounds of peanut butter as a tribute to a piece by the late Dutch artist Wim T. Schippers.
Schippers had first created the peanut butter floor, dubbed Pindakaasvloer, in 1969, and it was previously on display in 1997.
“The thing I remember is the smell,” says food photographer and writer Mieke Weismann, who saw the peanut butter exhibition back in 1997.
Naturally, the museum posted a warning at its entrance for anyone with a peanut allergy.
We assume the museum also has a BYOJ police — bring your own jelly.
