Con Air: Plane passenger pleads guilty to stealing during flight

If you’re going to rob someone, we’d think you’d want to come up with a getaway plan. That’s probably harder to do if you’re stuck in a metal tube with the person you’re robbing.

Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Jaymer Ferrell from stealing from a fellow passenger while on a flight from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Pennsylvania, Ferrell was observed vaping and going through luggage in the overhead bin during the flight. When Ferrell, who also had an outstanding warrant, was searched by authorities upon landing, they found a backpack containing the wallet and credit cards of a different passenger on the plane.

Ferrell has pleaded guilty to theft on an aircraft and was sentenced to one year of supervised release.

We wonder if Nicolas Cage is available for a Con Air sequel.
