Beginning the afternoon of April 3, 2026, Webber Street will reopen to traffic for the weekend, restoring full access to the Port and surrounding businesses. This temporary reopening is intended to support local commerce and provide the community with improved mobility while construction activities pause for the weekend.
Additional information regarding upcoming traffic revisions will be released on Monday April 6, 2026. These updated revisions will provide increased access to the Port and surrounding businesses and is scheduled to go into effect on Tuesday April 7, 2026 as part of the Westside Interceptor Upgrade – Phase 2 project.
The updated traffic measures will remain in place until West 1st Street reopens between Union Street and Terminal Way, providing another direct connection between the Downtown Area and the Port.
Once that segment of West 1st Street is reopened, Webber Street will close again starting April 20, 2026 and is expected to remain closed into July.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as work continues for the Westside Interceptor Upgrade – Phase 2 project.
