If there’s an ostrich on the loose, you definitely don’t want to stick your head in the sand.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio put residents on alert when it announced that an ostrich had escaped and was running through the area.
“Please use caution if traveling in the area,” the Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.
In an update, the office announced, “The owner has been located, and the ostrich is safely back home.”
“Thank you to everyone who shared the alert and helped bring this situation to a quick and safe resolution,” the post concluded.
