Talk about being stuck in traffic.
An overturned semi-truck spilled syrup across the 10 Freeway in Fontana, California, according to Los Angeles ABC station KABC.
“[Workers] first laid down absorbent material in an attempt to sweep it up,” KABC reports. “But when that didn’t work, they brought in a water truck to hose it down and vacuum it up.”
The freeway’s westbound lanes were during the clean-up and didn’t reopen for nearly nine hours.
We can’t imagine the experience was a sweet ride for anybody.
