THE DALLES, OR – March 16, 2026 – North Wasco County School District (NWCSD) is excited to announce that online pre-registration for the 2026-2027 kindergarten class is now open.
To be eligible for enrollment, children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026.
While the initial registration is digital, each elementary school will host in-person orientation events to welcome new students and their families later this spring.
Registration Checklist: What to Bring To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please have the following items ready for your school’s orientation or in-person verification:
● Proof of age (birth certificate)
● Immunization records
● Proof of Residency – We will accept the following documents: Rental Agreement, Mortgage statement, Landlord Letter, Water, Sewer, Garbage, Electric, Phone, or Internet/Cable Bill with address listed.
